Day 1-3

Touch down in at Livingstone Airport in Zambia. The adventure begins! Our guide will be there to meet us and transfer to our hotel. Rest and relax. Dinner will be served at a very interesting African restaurant.

We will spend 3 days in Zambia, at the beautiful Waterfront Lodge, right on the banks of the Zambezi river. We will fly above Victoria Falls in a microlight aircraft, return to our lodge for breakfast and then head out to visit Victoria Falls by foot. After lunch in town, free time to relax by the pool, have a cocktail or a beer and soak in the December sun.

We will visit our guide's orphans on his land, distributing food, playing and experiencing what life is like for children in Africa. We will also visit a local artist market for African crafts, as well as having a cocktail at the most luxurious resort on the Zambezi: The Royal Livingstone Lodge.

Day 4-5

After breakfast this morning, we pack our car and head out towards Botswana, for the Chobe National Park. About a 2.5-hour drive today, so an easy ride! We arrive at the lodge in Botswana around noon, where we can relax by the gorgeous Chobe River.

Early the next day we will head into the Chobe National Park for our private Jeep drive. Chobe has between 120,000 to 150,000 elephants, thousands of giraffes, hippos, two prides of lions, leopards, large herds of buffalo, zebras and thousands of impalas. We will have a chance to see a lot of them, grazing close to our vehicle. We are coming back to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch, we jump on our private boat and our driver will take us on the River, to experience the animals from the water this time. Another surprise awaits here, yet again!

Day 6

Today we head East, deeper into the Kalahari Desert, and rest at the Elephant Sands Lodge. About 4-hour drive today. Elephant Sands is a unique development in the Kalahari, where “The Elephants Rule!”. The lodge surrounds an ancient waterhole, where elephants come to drink in the evening. We sit so close to them, we can almost touch them.

Day 7-8

Today we head North where by lunch we will reach Maun, on the Okavango Delta’s Southern Border. We rest at Audi Camp, in a luxury Safari tent, a true African experience, spending 2 nights here exploring this amazing part of Africa.

We will do a Mokoro (dugout canoe) ride on one of the Okavango Delta’s channels, guided by a local Tswana man. Ancient canals here are teaming with wildlife, from hippos to crocs and elephants and more. The Okavango river is the only river in the world that doesn’t flow into any lake or ocean, but it is swallowed whole by the Kalahari sands. The Delta is its last stronghold before the water is vanishing into the largest underground cave on the planet: The Dragon’s Breath.

Day 9

After breakfast, we take a 4 hour drive deeper into the Kalahari for a very special off-the-beaten-track experience with the San Bushmen tribe. We will stay at their Dqae Qare lodge, a simple farmhouse dating back to 1800’s. The main attraction here is the people that we will encounter. A traditional story telling and dance around the fire at night will be one of our activities. We will also learn the ancient San technique of fire-making, as well as take a walk in the bush to see how these amazing survivors find food in the desert. At night, we will have a dinner cooked by the San people in the lodge’s dining room.

Here, we will experience the amazing Namib desert, with the oldest dunes in the world, through a luxurious and unique Sandwich Harbor tour, visit the place where the original Star Wars was filmed and visit the Goanikontes Oasis. We will also visit the largest Seal colony on the planet, at Cape Cross, with over half a million seals. Beach, water, sand, incredible seafood and wines, what a finale!
